Interview Didier LIEBERMANN

AS A FOUNDER, YOU HAVE BEEN IN CHARGE OF INNOVATION AND REFERENCING OF NEW PRODUCTS AT NOVOMED SINCE THE BEGINNING. WHAT HAS INNOVATION BEEN ABOUT AT NOVOMED SINCE THE BEGINNING?

Innovation at Novomed is the constant desire to provide users of our medical devices or protective equipment with the safety, comfort and optimal precision of a professional medical procedure. To achieve this, we rely on a longstanding and solid network of partner doctors who continuously guide us towards new needs and new care techniques. This is what has guided us for each innovation, at each stage of the construction of our patent and trademark portfolio.

Thus, our culture of medical-surgical single-use focused early on the highest level of quality and reliability to avoid nosocomial infections in healthcare facilities caused by inappropriate or soiled equipment.

WHAT ARE YOUR OBJECTIVES, PRIORITIES AND RESOURCES IN YOUR INNOVATION STRATEGY FOR THE COMING YEARS?

Our approach must take into account the environmental realities and threats of our time. The quality and lengthening of life in a world that is increasingly hostile due to threats (pollution, health risks, etc.) must make us think about what is essential to guarantee both healthcare professionals and their patients a safe diagnosis and relevant care.

With the successive health crises (SARS, H1N1, COVID 19), the need for increasingly reliable and economical protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.), but also the need for testing has returned to the forefront of needs and our know-how in this field will be enhanced with the collaboration of leading scientists and industrialists.

WHAT ARE THE LATEST ADVANCES AND CHANGES IN THE CREATION AND INNOVATION PROCESS AT NOVOMED?

The strengthening of our R&D, Quality & Regulatory Affairs teams allows us to consider with ever greater rigor the development of development projects on new healthcare solutions.

At the same time, the field presence of a new sales force in hospitals and clinics, in connection with our network of partner doctors, will enable us to go back to the bedside of the user of our devices to improve their originality and performance.
